Notes: This vibrantly shaded beauty is citrus orange Spessartine Garnet crystals, punctuated by smoky quartz crystals and frosty white microcline feldspar. There are also orange garnets floating within the smoky quartz crystals!

This distinctive combination is a classic mineral specimen from Tongbei, Fujian region, China. The bright orange citrus garnets wrap up over the feldspar and across the plate in a graphic and sparkling layer, which makes a great color contrast. The plate is not free of damage, and there are some areas of natural roughness and damage—this has been accounted into price.
