This is a set of unique raw and tumbled gemstones in alignment with the orisha (or goddess) Oya. Oya is from Yoruba culture, and is associated with storms, transformation, life and death, lightning, magic, and strength. The gems are included in a beautiful red gauze bag with a gift tag. (For size reference, the gift tag is the size of a business card.)
Oya is the Yoruba orisha of storms and transformation, and is associated with great strength and powerful magic. She is associated with the transformation and power of storms and lightning, and is thought to govern life and death. She is a figure of strength and demands respect.
Culutural note: this set is made to honor a global goddess, and what she represents. I don’t lay claim to any other culture or religious belief, but hope to honor and represent those who feel inspired and led to work with each goddess.
The set would especially enhance an altar or jewelry supply collection! It would also be a great set for a massage professional or healer, or to help focus your meditation and healing at home.
This set contains at least one of each of the following:
Carnelian, raw
Fluorite, raw
Meteorite: Campo del Cielo
Noreena Jasper
Ammonite fossil, Morocco
Pyrite
Black Topaz (rare!), Utah
Rainbow hematite minis
Agate
NOTE: There are many different beliefs regarding gemstones and the healing they represent. These stone sets are created with healing in mind, but are not intended to treat or diagnose diseases or disorders. I encourage you to do your own research and exploration!
