This is a stunning cluster of beautiful light yellow mimetite crystals on reddish brown matrix! This miniature cluster is lovely and difficult to capture in pictures—the layers of pale lemon yellow mimetite crystals are prismatic; they have grown atop and around matrix rock; the overall shape is a raw layered cluster with bright color and subtle shine. This is a desirable example of this mineral, and will make a unique addition to any specimen collection!

Mimetite is a lead chloro-arsenate mineral known for its bright yellow shades. The reddish matrix seen here is decayed limonite, the group of rust minerals; it can be a bit crumbly, and a little shedding is expected during shipping or subsequent handling.
HEALING: Mimetite is associated with emotional stability, inner balance, and joy.
