This aesthetic fluorite has a truly beautiful and classic appearance! This is a medium sized cluster of daylight fluorescent green fluorite crystals from Fairy Holes Pocket, Lady Annabella mine, England. When viewed indoors, it is a lovely deep shade of emerald green. (Several of the pictures show indoor lighting, and the cluster's green shade in that light.) But a different magic unlocks under sunlight: the fluorite is so fluorescent that it changes color in the sun, becoming a deep indigo color on the edges alongside the green shade. Under a blacklight, the cluster glows with amazing electric blue brightness! This cluster is on a sawed matrix section, making a beautiful display cluster to lay flat or display upright on a stand. There is damage to some of the cubes, and the price reflects this condition—despite its imperfections, it has beautiful deep color and a lustrous appearance.
Fluorite is always lovely, but these color-change pieces are truly a collector's dream. Very difficult to find, but certainly worth the hunt!

Lady Annabella mine Fluorite specimens are amazingly diverse! This mine in Eastgate, Weardale, England is known for its complex system of veins and pockets, yielding a wide variety of Fluorite specimens in many colors, shapes, and displaying different color-change phenomenona. Fairy Holes Pocket is named for a nearby natural cave system, and this pocket yields green cubic fluorite with a classic Weardale aesthetic. The fluorite crystals tend to be a deep leafy-emerald green, with deep grey to lilac color zoning, on an iron-rich altered limestone matrix containing Galena. In daylight, Fairy Holes Pocket specimens fluoresce a zoned soft lilac to deep royal purple! Like most if not all Lady Annabella specimens, specimens from this pocket fluoresce an electric bright blue shade
Healing Properties: Fluorite is often called the "psychic vacuum cleaner", and is believed to clear negative energy from one's surroundings. It is also a stone of mental focus and clarity--well suited for students and teachers. Green fluorite in particular is believed to open the heart chakra, providing emotional healing and cleansing trauma from the emotional body.
