This unusual cluster does have some damaged crystals, but overall it has an attractive and appealing vibe. In this specimen, deep olive green epidote strikes up into blocky crystals throughout the cluster. This is an unusual small piece, and would make an excellent display or meditation aid! Locality: Araçuaí, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Dimensions: contact me Weight: contact me FORMATION: Epidote is a sorosilicate mineral, which is found in regional and contact metamorphic rocks. It forms in habits including massive, monoclinic prismatic crystals, and lovely crystal fans. Quartz is the second most abundant silicate mineral in the earth’s crust—it forms in an amazing variety of habits and colors, and includes agates, jaspers, flint, chert, all manner of colored quartz varieties, and more. HEALING PROPERTIES: Epidote is believed to help in the acceptance of positive changes, and is believed to help us make correct choices and emulate what we want to receive.
