This is a small mounted crystal specimen of bright pink elbaite tourmaline, from Paprok, Afghanistan! The vivid deep pink quality of the color is difficult to capture accurately—let me know if I can send you a video. It is terminated, gemmy, well formed, and clean. This little crystal cluster would be a perfect jewelry supply crystal, or simply a great specimen for tourmaline collectors. An organic and all-natural Paprok specimen for the healing or jewelry supply collector in your life.

FORMATION: The tourmaline group is a complex family of minerals which vary in chemistry, and also in color and physical properties. Tourmaline has a hardness of 7-7.5. Elbaite tourmaline is a well-loved variety for its bright and often bicolored and tricolored crystals, including watermelon tourmaline.
HEALING: Pink tourmaline is associated with the heart chakra, and is believed to soothe and gently heal emotional wounds.
